If you’re using Google Chrome as your web browser, we’ve come across a site with a bunch of great extensions that you can load to improve your experience with Google+. (if you’re not using Chrome, you should be — get it here)
While I hope (and expect) that many of the extensions will be added to the standard Google+ interface, it’s a great way to try things early. What all is available?
- Tools to manage your replies better.
- Share your g+ posts on Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Show your notification count in the browser, so you’ll see it while you’re on any site.
- Photo zoom, to make photos enlarge on hover.
- Comment toggle to show/hide comments more easily
- Lots more!
The list is growing every day, so head over there and find one (or more) that work for you. One that I can’t find yet is a plugin to pull the “mute” link out of that dropdown menu. I love to mute posts to keep my stream cleaned up, but the extra click is getting old. If you find one that does that, let me know!
